I guess he likes the expansion joints on the concrete
work.....but his costs are much lower than Renner's costs for Coal Basin ,y~~/Y~1_ .~,.,a
and 1998 MEANS. Using Renners $20/cy for 74.1 cy totals $1,482.00. Means ¢A;J,~,/J» ~.
current rate is $3.39/sq.ft. which would be $8,136.00. The on site
disposal rate is 5.25/cy. This compares with Walters estimate of $624.00. -~
The concrete demolition cost is too low. We should not accept anything
less than Renners estimate of $20/cy.
We don't get may estimates for Fold-A-Way Buildings. Walters is using man
hours and equipment hours. This seems reasonable, but he needs to include
additional equipment to haul off the building, such as a loader, flatbed
truck, dump truck, plus he men to operate the equipment. He also needs to
include a disposal cost for the building. '' /-~C~
2 o J'~l'< ~-~-sue J~ /
The current rate for a job foreman is 26.04/hr. vs. Walters estimate of ~ ~_
25.00/hr.
