Canany <br />Division Director <br />Re: Proposed Decision <br />Permit Renewal Application No. 2 (RN-2) <br />Carbon Junction Mine (Permit No. C-1992-080) <br />Deaz La Plata County Commissioners: <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is proposing to Approve with <br />Conditions a renewal application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by <br />Oakridge Energy Inc on March 11, 2003, for the Cazbon Junction Mine. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication of this notice by the <br />Division in the The Durango Herald. <br />The surface mine is located approximately 2 miles southeast of Durango. The permit area is further described as <br />follows: <br />Portions of Section 33, T34 1/2N, R9W; Portions of Section 33, T35N, R9W; Portions of Section 4, T34N, R9W. <br />Copies of the renewal application aze available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the La Plata County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
