M-1981-302—DEEPE FARM PIT -BOULDER COUNTY, CO OWNER: UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO Dear Carl: As previously discussed with you and Gregg Squires, the University of Colorado would like to request the partial release of lands located within Permit M-1981-302. Said lands have been mined for sands and gravels and have been reclaimed in accordance with the approved Permit and Reclamation Plan for this property. We have included herein a drawing indicating the boundary of the lands to be released from this permit. We are also forwarding to you, on behalf of the owner, the formal request by the Owner/Operator dated October 2, 2001 signed by Jeffrey Lipton who is the property owner and mining operator's Designated Representative stating that all permit requirements have been met as defined in Section 4.16 "Release of Performance and Financial Warranties" of the Construction Materials Rule 4 (revised 10/01). His letter also lists the sole property owner's name, address and phone number. Please contact me if you have any questions or require additional information. Also, please advise when you would like to schedule your field inspection so that we might have the property boundaries for the areas requested to be released staked prior to your visit.
