However, in order to show compliance with Rule 4.05.9(1 ), <br />actual demonstrationsmust be provided. <br />(a) Please take full suite water quality samples from each pond to show <br />that the water meets recommended water quality criteria for stock <br />watering standards. At a minimum, please sample major cations and <br />anions plus arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, chromium (trivalent and <br />hexavalent), copper, iron, lead manganese, nickel, selenium, zinc, <br />nitrate and nitrite. <br />(b) Provide historical documentation which defines water level and <br />storage information on these ponds. <br />(d) Please submit documentation showing water rights have been acquired <br />or ensure that less than 2 acre-feet will be impounded at any time. <br />(f) Provide calculations which demonstrate that the emergency spillways <br />can handle the 100 year-24 hour event. <br />(g) In addition, make estimates on the seasonality of the use of the <br />property as well as the number of animals which you anticipate on <br />the grazing allotnent. <br />Please call if you have any questions. <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Catherine W.
