Reseeding will be completed using a certified weed free seed mixture as
approved by the Forest Service District specialist.
Land Use and Recreation
15. To avoid conflicts with hunter use in the area, mobilization or demobilization of
drilling equipment will not be allowed on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
of the opening weekends of the muzzleloader season, the first big game rifle
season and the second big game rifle season.
Transaortation
16. The access road to the pad will be gated at the intersection with the Hubbard
Creek Road. When 24-hour operations are no longer occurring, this gate will be
closed and locked to preclude public motorized access.
Hazardous Waste
17. The Operator shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent any dumping or
spilling of oil or hazardous material on national Forests System lands, and shall
take appropriate preventative measures to ensure that any spill of such oil or
hazardous materials shall be immediately picked up and removed from National
Forest System lands. Used oil resulting from the servicing or repair of equipment
shall not be buried on national Forest System lands, and shall be removed and
disposed in a designated city, county, or State disposal site or recycling facilities.
18. The Licensee and/or their contractors will be responsible for containment and
remediation of any spills of fuels, oil, and other hazardous materials. Any spills
of fuels, oil, and other hazardous materials that must be reported to other
agencies must also be reported to the USFS immediately. Immediate
containment and clean-up will be required consistent with Bowie's Spill
Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan. Any contaminated soil
will be removed from the Forest prior to reclamation.
19. All releases (unless the reportable spill quantity is less than 10 gallons) of any
substance to soil or water would be immediately reported to BLM and USFS
Compliance Officers. Containment of the spill will occur immediately, clean up of
a spill will occur within 3 days, or as soon as practicable and proof of cleanup
provided for the record.
20. Bowie must clean up and remove all drilling equipment, surplus materials
(cement, etc.), trash, garbage, flagging, vehicles and other such materials from
NFS lands.
21.
