The site
would be constructed north of the existing. Equipment Parking Lot and
adjacent to the railroad tracks. The area of disturbance is a previously
disturbed and reclaimed site approximately 150'~by 500' for a total of 1.8
acres. Prior to construction topsoil would be removed and used to reclaim
1.8 acres of the Equipment Parking Lot. The site would be constructed by
building a loading bench to an elevation of 6845'. Rock may be placed on
the surface to facilitate operations. A coal stockpile measuring
approximately 400' X 50' X 6' for a maximum of 5000 tons would be located on
the south side of the loading bench.
CYCC is requesting a small area exemption for the loading bench.
Sediment control would be achieved by installing a silt fence. Upon
completion of the mining operations the area will be reclaimed in accordance
with the approved plan. Fill material and rock will be removed and topsoil
that would have been used for the equipment parking lot will be available
for topsoiling.
CYCC is also requesting that the temporary stockpile approved in minor
revision 87-14 be approved as a permanent stockpile with a maximum of 5000
tons.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Si~ rely,
(~ / -~
-C~l~~` l~-'`~' (ti,.+,a ~y-yam.
Terrell K.
