Colorado 80203 <br />Re: Dolores County, Bartley Gravel Pit, Permit No. M-84-155, CN-001 <br />Dear Mr. Stevens: <br />This office has reviewed your correspondence of August 9, 1994 concerning <br />the above proposed project. <br />Although no sites are located within the project area, surveys in the <br />vicinity indicate that cultural resources may be present. In the areas <br />where there have been no extensive land altering activities, we recommend <br />that a cultural resource survey be undertaken to determine if eligible <br />cultural resources will be impacted by mining activities.
