Paving this area will help
eliminate muddy conditions during wet weather and in the winter-time. Paving will require base preparation,
consisting of placement and compaction of 8-12 inches of road-base, followed by placement and compaction of
approximately 3 inches of asphalt over an azea of approximately 29,400 squaze feet.
Resurfacing and paving the parking azea will not affect existing drainage systems surrounding the parking areas, since
the designed drainage ditches will be either maintained or reestablished. Reclamation of the pazking area will be
completed in accordance with the existing approved reclamation plan.
We appreciate your consideration and cooperation. Once you have had opportunity to review the accompanying
information, please feel free to contact me with any questions or to discuss related matters.
Best regards,
Twentymile pany
JerryMy~ tleto~~n ~~~
Envir~ ntal Supervisor
ec: Mike Berdine/TCC
G:\Environmental\REVISION\MINOR-RV\MR05-202 Pave Mine Pazking\MR05-202 Letter of'IYansmittal.doc
