Each copy consists
of one volume specifically related [o the Teller County Land Use Regulations labeled
Volume IX. CC&V delivered copies of the eight volumes which comprise the
application for a permit amendment with the State of Colorado, Office of Mined Land
Reclamation (Volume I through Vlll) to your office on April 3, 2000.
The attached application has been developed to address the requirements of the Teller
County Land Use Regulations, effective January Z, 2000, that apply to an amendment to
a CUP -Mining. The enclosed information has also been developed to satisfy the
requirements of the draft regulations under development by the Teller County Plamtittg
Department for the Cripple Creek Mining Overlay District ("CCMOD"). CC&V requests
that the application be reviewed for compliance with the existing regulations. In
addition, the appropriate information is provided to address the proposed regulations in
the event [hat they become effective prior to approval of the amendment.
Also, enclosed with this submitta] is a completed application form and check (number
44803) in the amount of $500 to cover the application fee. As discussed in the body of
the document, CC&V believes that it is preferable that the Teller County action be
completed prior to the time the application will be considered for approval by [he OMLR
and Mined Land Reclamation Board ("MLRB"), which CC&V expects will occur in July of
2000. Therefore, CC&V requests that the application be scheduled for consideration before
the Teller Counq~ Commissioners in June of 2000, and that completeness determination,
work session(s), and public notices be made in anticipation of final action in June of 2000.
