As a residential land owner directly across the Unr_ompahare River from the proposed e;:pansion of the hole, asphalt and concrete hot min; pl art , I am aenuinel~ concerned . F'1 ease allow me to list a few of the most immediate concerns: 1. Effects on wildlife: waterfowl, e14:. and deer populations, our si;; ponds of trout, bald eagles ipreviaus to United Gravel's arrival, we consistently had three pairs of bald eagles in our immediate area...now we have none) and many many other miscellaneous species. _. Devaluation of property by spoiling the scenic and serene environment of our neighborhood. 3. Potential health hazards in the form of e::cessive dust, odor, annoying noise, emmisions and heavy truck: traffic. 4. G~uestionable reclamation of the effected area after ten years of mining. (not enough tap soil to cover the pit, lac4:: of proper irrigation waters for the promised re<~eed i na) . Py admission of United Companies, the entire valley nos good aggregate. Whv not locate it in a more industrial area PIOT our residential neighborhood^: Mr. Liilly, would you want them in your neighborhood?! Far a company peddling the motto, "Good neighbor policy", we find their actions irresponsibler appauling, deliberately deceptive and insensitive to the people who chose this neighborhood to live and retire in many year~~ ago.
