. .~ ~ Findings Required by Other Laws This decision is consistent with the 1984 Pike and San Isabel National Forests, Comanche and Cimarron National Grasslands Land and Resource Management Plan (Forest Plan) as required by the National Forest Management Act. The project was designed in conformance with forest plan standards and incorporates appropriate forest plan guidelines. The Forest Plan identifies the area in which the road is located as a 4D Management Area - "management emphasis on maintaining and improving aspen sites." Providing Colorado Marble with a permit to perform minor repair and improvement work to FSR 228 will have no effect on the Forest's management strategy for the area.
