The Carbon Junction Mine -Permit No. C-92-080 -Technical Revision TR-03
In February of 1996, the Division conducted its Mid-Term Review of the Carbon Junction Coal
mine. Oakridge Energy, Inc., the mine's petmittee, has since provided a variety of information
responding to our team's review.
Oakridge Energy is responding to our Mid-Term Review via Technical Revision TR-03. Not all
of our review terms are addressed in this TR; some are forthcoming. The application for TR-03
was found complete on July 29, 1996. The original decision due date was September 27, 1996.
The latest set of responses provided by Oakridge Energy was submitted on October 2, 1996.
Harry Ranney will be out of town this week. In order to ensure a timely review of TR-03, I'm
distributing these materials to everyone now, rather than waiting until Harry returns.
I'm not sure what information you've received to date for review and comment. I've therefore
made a list of the submitted items, for your benefit.
1) Febtuary 1996 Mid-Term Review Findings Document (17 pages). This packet includes
team adequacy letters from me, Kent and Janet;
2) Oakridge's first set of responses (19 pages), stamped received June 19, 1996;
3) Packet of various Completeness and Incompleteness letters (9 pages), with the top page
stamped received June 29, 1996;
4) Slope Stability Analysis Report (5 pages), stamped received September 30, 1996;
