r ~
'~.
Pnnd A Araa

1) The drainage at the Pond A fill site will be handled as part of the
permanent drainage system (see Soil Stabilization Plan Permit Renewal pg
780-129-1 and or Technical Revision 87-14). All construction, maintenance
and repair applicable to permanent channels will apply. A rocked grade
crossing is proposed for the permanent road passage.
2) The 78 inch culvert at the Pond A fill site will be crushed and buried
similar to the one at the Area 41 fill site. The culvert will be crushed
and covered sufficiently so that it does not affect the postmining
topography.
Other Areas
1) Map TR 87-12-3 has been revised to show the reclaimed roads will not
exceed 20 feet in width.
2) Map 7R 87-12-3 shows a typical cross section for reclamation of cut and
fill areas. Drainages will be reclaimed as discussed in the previous
referenced Soil Stabilization Plan and as shown on postmining topography.
Drainage crossings will be accomplished by installing appropriately sized
culverts as shown on Map TR 87-12-I and TR 87-12-2 or rocked grade crossings.
Revised Pages
1) Mulching is no longer required at CYCC (see minor revision approved hiay
16, 1985 and Permit Renewal page 780-II7-1).
Page 780-118x, Table TR 87-12-I, and Map TR 87-12-3 have been revised
to reflect these changes and are included.
If there are questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
~, ..
,w6B-v~~
errell K: Johnson
Environme ,tai Specialist
TKJ/dg
Enclosures
