Cattany <br />Re: Yoast Mine (Permit No. C-1494-082) Division Director <br />Technical Revision Application No. 25 (TR-25) Natural Resource Trustee <br />Additional Postmine Channel (YPM-13), Revised PMT for Valora Pit, and Variance Request for Backfill snd <br />Grading in Portion of Valora Pit <br />Deaz Sir or Madam: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, <br />of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on November 19, 2003, an application to revise coal mining operafions at the Yoas[ Mine <br />was considered complete for the proposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Seneca Coa] Company. All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />This technical revision presents a design for an additional postmine channel (YPM-13) in the North Pit disturbed azea, a revised <br />PMT for the Valora Pit, and a variance request for the timing of rough backfilling and grading in the southern portion of the <br />Valora Pit. <br />The Surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area <br />is further described as follows: <br />T6N, R87W, Portions of Sections 28, 29 and 32 <br />TSN, R87W, All of Section 17; Portions of Sections 5, 8, 16, 18, 19, 20, 29, 30 <br />Mt. Hams & Dunckley <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Danckley and Mount Hams. <br />The applicant is requtred to publish notice in a local newspaper that [his application has been deemed complete. At the time of <br />publicafion of this notice, the applicant is additionally required [o place a copy of this application at the Hayden Public Library, <br />225 E. Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, Colorado 81639„ and at the Division office.
