Dear Ms. Binns:
The following presents TCC's responses to the questions raised in the Division's letter of January
7, 2000, which was hand delivered to TCC on Januaq~ 12, 2000. The responses follow the same
numbering scheme as the Division's.
Item 1. Revised page 3 of the application is attached.
Item 11. Page 2.05-9 has been revised to show the 10,000,000 ton/year production started in 1998.
Item 22.a) The submittal of 11/12/99 does go into Exhibit 7f-l. The submittal does certify that it
was built in general conformance with the design. Dr. Breeds has been contacted and he will be
forwarding a copy of the drawing within a week that can be inserted into the exhibit.
Ttem 22.d) Page 2.05-188 has been revised to address the Division's comment.
Item 22.h) The information was submitted previously and it can be found on page 2.05-184.4.
Item 35. Pages 2.05-16 and 17 have been modified to provide the permit term
Item 39.b) Page 2.05-66 has been modified to remove the wording that implied topography is
shown on Map 24.
Item 44.a) TCC will submit these labels after meeting with the Division on 1/I8/00.
item 58. The waste water treatment plant design was submitted previousl}• as Exhibit 80. It is
unclear as to which SAE design is needed as TCC has submitted numerous SAE designs. The
Table of Contents for Exhibit 8 is attached.
Item 62.a) TCC is having the primary spilhvay resurveyed to resolve the discrepancy and it should
be available by 1/21/00. in reference to the Fish Creek Tipple (Pond E) the certification of the
repairs wmpleted on the primary spillway is attached and can be inserted into Exhibit 8 of "Fish
