DOMG Concern No. 4. Map 23 does not show the previously surfaced
mined areas as the response indicates. Please revise this map to
clearly show these areas.
Response - Map 23 has been revised to show these areas, and copies
b of the map are attached.
DOMG Concern No. 5. The Division will require that written
~, approval form (sic) Routt County (County Road No. 27), Yampa Valley
'\~ ~ Electric (powerlines) U. S. West (telephone lines) and the owner of
5~~` the oil well be forwarded to the Division prior to undermining any
of their structures.
Response - The appropriate approvals will be provided to the
Division prior undermining any of the structures.
DOMG Concern No. 6. Where on the shoulder of the road does TCC plan
to establish the 6 - 12 inch spikes for subsidence monitoring?
(i.e. how far from the pavement). Also the Division will require
two signs, one stating "Begin Subsidence Zone" and the other
"leaving subsidence zone", to be posted along the County Road.
These will be required in both travel directions.
Response - The exact location of the 6 - 12 inch spikes will be
developed in conjunction with the Routt County Road Department. It
should be noted that the spikes will not extend above the ground
surface by 6 - 12 inches, rather the spikes will be driven in the
ground to a depth of 6 - 12 inches. Also, it is anticipated the
b~ spikes will be placed in the shoulder outside of the area of the
shoulder that could be disrupted by road maintenance equipment.
The signs will be changed per the above, however, the "Rough Road,
Drive With Care" sings will be placed through the subsided area as
originally planned. Page 2.05-128(a) has been revised to reflect
the above. Copies of the revised page are attached.
DOMG Concern No. 7. The following are text or incidental problems
which need correction or clarification:
/a. Page 2.05-Sa is missing the approved language of TR-14.
b. The exhibit table of contents is missing 13 and 25a.
c. The Division request two dividers each for Exhibit 13 (a)
and 23(a).
d. Page 2.04-32 (1) should read "it may serve" and
"adjacent".
GAL e. Page 2.04-69 - Rule 4.05-6 (2) (iii) should be 4.05.6 (2)
(a) (iii).
6~,f. Page 2.05-55 (b) - Rule 2.04.4 (2) (g) should be 2.05.4
(2) (g)
U~ g. Page 2.05-56 - 1,8 inches should be 1.8 inches.
h.
