IUSA hereby notifies the Colorado <br />Department of Natural Resources, Division of Minerals and Geology of our intent to <br />resume operations for production of uranium and vanadium ore at the following <br />mines in San Miguel Counry, Colorado: <br />• West Sunday Mine, Permit No. M-81-021 <br />• Sunday Mine, Permit No. M-77-285 <br />• Carnation Mine, Permit No. M-7716 <br />• St. Jude Mine, Permit No. M-78-039 <br />• Topaz Mine, Permit No. M-080-039 <br />Our files indicate that these mines have been on standby and were granted <br />temporary cessation status until the market for uranium and vanadium improved <br />sufficiently to justify reactivation. Change from temporary cessation status is <br />requested effective immediately; production is expected to continue until at least the <br />end of 1998. <br />
