As per your understanding, we will obtain a NPDES permit for this operation. Although this <br />pemut is not required by the state for these operations, we continue to maintain them at all of ow <br />facilities just incase there is an upset condition. There will be fuel and oil storage at this facility. <br />All oil and lubricants will be stored in a covered facility. All fuel storage will be placed in <br />containment areas that meet the state standards. <br />Item 6: Exhibit "L" Reclamation Costs <br />Final reclamation will be done at 3:1 slopes and the information on ponds has been provided in <br />this response. We have received preliminary reclamation cost estimates and are reviewing [hem at <br />this time. <br />Item 7: Exhibit "P" Municipalities within two miles. <br />The city of Calhan is a municipality and is incorporated in El Paso County. I have checked into <br />the distance from ow site. The distance from the north edge of the permitted azea to the city <br />limits of Calhan is 2.8 miles and does not require notification by the Divisions regulations. <br />Item 8: Exhibit "S" Permanent Man-made Stmctures <br />As noted in an earlier letter, we will not conduct any mining within 200 ft. of any man-made <br />structures that will be damaged by these activities.
