The revision is complete and acceptable as
submitted with the exception of the proposed bond increase
associated with reclaiming the portal. The following calculation
is the Division's estimate for sealing and abandoning the portal.
Block wall sealing- 200 sq ft. x $36/sq ft.= $7200
Backfill with non-combustible material- loft x 20ft x 25ft = 5000
cubic ft./27 ft per cubic yd = 185 cubic yd. x $3.32/cubic yd. _
$ 614.81
Total- 7200 + 614.81 + 1766.14(indirect costs of 22.6$)= $9580.95
Rounded to $9581
The difference in Somerset's proposal and the Division.'s
calculation is the portal size used in the calculation. If
Somerset agrees with this calculation, please inform the Division
so that a decision to approve the revision can be made. If there
is disagreement, contact us so that we can resolve this issue, as
it is the only outstanding item at this point.
Zf you have ay questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Anthony J.
