Based on this inspection, the Division will release from reclamation
liability some additional sites from those NOIs.
On CX-96-216-00, final release is approved on sites
PDH-33 (aka BE 98-033) and
PDH-3.
This leaves liability for six drillholes that remain as monitoring wells. $3396.68 will be
retained on the bond.
On CX-96-216-01, final release is approved for regrading and revegetation on the
following sites inspected:
FED-62
FED-61
FED-2
FED-15
FED-13
FED-31
FED-34
Sites FED-55, FED-68, FED-64, FED-65, and FED-14 were inspected, but these sites
were not deemed eligible for liability release because of poor revegetation. The Division
will return in several years to determine if revegetation has progressed sufficiently.
A total of $15,543.00 remained on the bond for CX-96-216-01. This total will be
retained for reclamation of the remaining water monitoring wells.
