hearing on Amendment No.l. Condition No.l of the Boazd's approval states in part "
No de-watering or extraction activities will occur until Aggregate Industries develops a
plan to monitor the gravel pit pond water for diisopropylmethylphosphonate (DI1vIP) and
obtains approval of that plan from the Division of Minerals and Geology." The condition
goes on to list the information required in the plan. A seazch of the file does not show
that such a plan has been submitted to the Division for approval. A copy of a letter from
Molen & Associates, LLC to Jamie Gaboriau of Aggregate Industries was found in the
file that discusses sampling and analysis of DIMP. Please refer to condition No 1 and
submit your plan for monitoring for DIMP in the gravel pit pond before de-watering or
extraction activities begin in the Amendment No. 1 mining azea.
Please call ane at 303-866-4922 if you have questions.
Sincerely / ~~ ~
g~9• ~?-¢~~,
arty D.
