Series: Curecanti (variant) <br />dark gray extremely cobbly loam, black moist; weak medium granular <br />sttucture; sofr, friable, slightly sticky & plastic; 30% gravel; <br />25 % cobbles; 10% stones, slightly acid. <br />reddish brown very cobbly clay, yellowish red moist; moderate coarse <br />prismatic structure; extremely hard, very sticky & plastic; 30% gravel; <br />20% cobbles; 3% stones, neutral. <br />similar to above except with clay films and soft masses of calcium <br />carbonate. <br />MAXIMUM SAFE SALVAGE DEPTH <br />(ABOUT 16") <br />pink very cobbly clay, reddish yellow moist; massive; very hard, <br />sticky & plastic; 30% gravel; 20% cobbles; 3% stones, moderately <br />alkaline, carbonate disseminated throughout. <br />Soil Salvage Note: Salvage below about 16"may introduce alkalinity <br />into topsoil. Removal of larger stones and cobbles will greatly improve <br />quality as a topsoil. <br />
