Box 449, Florence, <br />Colorado 80226, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews <br />and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the <br />Southfield Mine. The technical revision addresses an incidental permit <br />boundary change and changes in the disturbance boundary. <br />The Southfield Mine area is located on the following sections: <br />Township 20 South, Range 69 West <br />Sections 19, 30, and 31 <br />Township 20 South, Range 70 West <br />Sections 23, 24, 25, and 26 <br />The Southfield Loadout area is located on the following sections: <br />Township 19 South, Range 69 West <br />Sections 17 and 18 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map <br />of Rockvale (mine area) and Canon City (loadout area). <br />Because the above referenced technical revision application might alter <br />previously approved permit conditions or mitigation measures, we are <br />requesting your agency's evaluation of the potential for impacts to threatened <br />
