Long <br />Dwnion Director <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on March 16, 1995, <br />a technical revision application for a permit to conduct coal mining <br />operations by Twentymile Coal Company, 29515 Routt County Road No. 27, <br />Oak Creek, Colorado 80467, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. <br />All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations <br />promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the <br />Foidel Creek Mine. The technical revision addresses the Construction of a <br />stack conveyor, coal stockpile, Loadout conveyor, and batch weigh/Loadout <br />system. <br />The Foidel Creek permit area is located approximately 23 miles southwest of <br />Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The construction area for the above activities <br />is located in the NE 1/4 and SE 1/4 of Township 5 North, Range 86 West, and is <br />shown pn the USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle map of Rattlesnake Butte. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public <br />inspection at the Routt County Courthouse in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. <br />Written comments may be submitted to and additional information may be <br />obtained from the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. <br />Sincerely, <br />Kent A.
