Permit M-2003-0-30 ~ 9 ; ,~~, 6.3.3 EXHIBIT C -Mining Plan y ''• (1) (o) Limited explosives will be used in conjunction with active mining at Site B on the Smoky Hawk Mine and other possible sites if similaz mck structure is encountered. A DH99 air track with two diesel compressors will be used to drill holes for explosives along a working bench at Site B. ANFO will be used as the explosive agent with non- electrical delays. Two Type 1 magazines will be used to store explosives and detonators on site in accordance with mine safety regulations during blasting. Blasting will occur during the approximate 30-day operating period. Colorado Calumet Company Inc. will accomplish the blasting and holds a current federal blasting license and permit. License number is S-CO-059-33-9E-00551 and expires 1 May 2009. All safety requirements will be strictly enforced and adhered to.
