Enclosed is a partial submittal of the reclamation plan. This submittal
includes text describing the reclamation of the existing disturbance as well as figures depicting
the reclaimed contours.
As you are aware, I have been working on the submittal for the McClane Canyon Renewal,
which you said took precedence over the Reclamation Plan. Still to be compiled to complete the
reclamation plan are analysis of the stability of the reclaimed slopes, calculation of the
reclamation costs, compiling cross sections of the reclaimed area, and addressing erosion
protection in the reclaimed channels.
Grand Valley anticipates that these additions should be finalized prior to September 3,
1996, and requests a time extension to that date.
I will try to meet with you on Wednesday, July 3, 1996 and will deliver or mail this package
then.
Sincerely;
-~~~l~G~
John M.
