The packet includes a Damage Liability Agreement for
Brighton Blvd.
Any mining activity in Adams County must be done under a mining permit issued by
Adams County. The Adams County permit for Brannan Sand and Gravel Pit #29 is #90-
80-CP.
•
To add property into the mining boundaries the Adams County Permit must also be
amended. The new properties will fall under the same standards stipulated in the current
permit.
Any damage occurring to Brighton Blvd. due to mining activities will be remediated
immediately by Brannan Sand and Gravel. Failure on the part of Brannan Sand and
Gravel to protect any man made structures outside of the mining permit area boundaries
jeopardizes their permit with Adams County allowing mining in Adams County.
Based upon our requirements for permitting in Adams County, this Department declines
to process the damage liability agreement. Should you have any questions regarding this
action please do not hesitate calling me at 303-853-7003.
n
~ncerely,
CCSC
Craig ~ essmer
Environmental Analyst
cc: Director, Planning and Development
BOARD OF COUNTY ELAINE T.
