<br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33,
<br />Section 116, Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on September O5, 1996, an application to
<br />revise coal mining operations a[ the Sanborn Creek Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing.
<br />The revision was submitted by PaciSc Basin Resources. All review and comment periods as provided in the
<br />Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing.
<br />The revision addresses modification of the reclamation plan for revegetation and seed mix, nursery stock
<br />transplanting requirements, eliminating the riparian designation for the reclaimed Lower Hubbard Creek site,
<br />adjusting sampling techniques, and adding a species diversity standard.
<br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located north of the town of Somerset, Colorado. The permit
<br />area is further described as follows:
