C-81-008). The portion of the Nucla permit area <br />contained in this request for release of liability is <br />described as: <br />Portions of the 5#, S# and N#, S#, Section 25, <br />T47N, R16W. <br />The surface owners of the above-described area are Montrose <br />County and San Miguel County. Of the 55.6 acres for which <br />reclamation liability release is being requested, 13.4 acres <br />are included in the existing landfill operation. The <br />remaining 42.2 acres have been licensed by Montrose County <br />for expansion of the landfill. A land use change to <br />industrial/commercial to accommodate the landfill expansion <br />was approved by CMLRD on January 31, 1989.
