Dudash <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Minerals & Geology <br />1313 Sherman Street, Rm. 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Re: Sanborn Creek Mine (Permit No. C-1981-022) <br />Technical Revision Application No. 37 (TR-37) <br />Incidental Boundary Change <br />Dear Mr. Dudash: <br />This is to acknowledge receipt of your December 6, 1999 <br />correspondence concerning the project listed. above. <br />Since this permit is concerned with the expansion of an <br />existing underground mine and will involve no disturbance to <br />new surface lands, we find that there will be no effect to <br />cultural resources. <br />If archaeological resources are discovered during project <br />activities, work must be interrupted until the resources have <br />been evaluated in terms of the National Register of Historic <br />Places eligibility criteria (36 CFR 60.4) in consultation <br />with our office. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
