Russell, 9042 South 106 Road, Alamosa, Colorado 81101, (719) 589-3302, <br />has filed an application for a Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board under the provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the <br />Extraction of Construction Materials. The Proposed mine is known as the Bachus Pit and <br />is located in the SouthwCSt Quarter of Section 18, Township 37 North, Range 10 East, <br />New Mexico Principal Meridian. <br />The proposed date of commencement is October 30, 2001 and the proposed date of <br />completion is October 30, 2031. The future use of the land is Rangeland. <br />Additional information and the tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division <br />of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado, 80203, <br />(303) 866-3567, or at the Alamosa County Clerk and Recorder's office; 402 Edison, <br />Alamosa, Colorado, or the above named applicant. A complete copy ofthe application is <br />available at the above named County Clerk and Recorder's office and at the Division's <br />office. <br />Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be in writing and must be <br />received by the Division of Minerals and Geology by 4:00 p.m on October 3, 2001. <br />ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE: <br />We, Allen and Carol Colvin, do hereby state that on August 26, 2001, Daniel M.
