The standard which Utah uses in responding t&
inquiries of this type is whether a permit would be issued under the Utah Coal
Regulatory Program.
To date the applicant has one affiliated company conducting mining
activities in the state of Utah; Plateau Mining Company.
As of the writing oP this letter, there are no NOV's or Co's which are not
corrected or in the process of being corrected. Any NOV's or Co's that are
outstanding are in the process of administrative or judicial review. Also,
there are no finalized civil penalties which are outstanding and overdue in
the name of Plateau Mining Company.
Finally, Plateau Mining Company does not have a demonstrated pattern of
willful violations for any operation in the state of Utah.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Best regards,
Dianne R.
