Species Rate (Lbs. PLS/Acre)*
1 Intermediate Wheatgrass 6
Fairway Crested Wheatgrass 3
Alfalfa, Ranger (innoculated) 1
10
*Drilled rate; if broadcast, all rates will be doubled.
The area will be fertilized prior to seeding with 30 pounds per
acre of nitrogen and 20 pounds per acre of phosphorous. Since
' this part of the site is not going to be revegetated to a final
land use, but only stabilized, soil tests will not be taken
because such precision in fertilization is not necessary.
' This open-pit area will have no drill holes or auger holes
remaining. There are no addits or shafts.
' There are no earthen dams.
No toxic or acid-forming materials will be encountered or used
in this operation.
All refuse will be disposed of by hauling it away or by burying
' it in the backfill areas so that unsightliness and deleterious
effects will be controlled.
Mobile Premix' s intention is to minimize disturbances to the
' prevailing hydrological balance of the affected land and of the
surrounding area and to the quality and ground water systems
during and after reclamation. Mobile Premix believes they are
in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
governing water and water rights.
' All land area of the affected land will be stabilized through
revegetation, construction, and grading to control erosion, air,
and water pollution.
' Mobile Premix believes the reclamation plan will have no
significant impact on remaining wildlife ( see Exhibit H) .
-6B-
1 -
