The operation is an <br />underground coal mine located approximately 19 miles north of Loma, Colorado, <br />in Garfield County. The rail loadout is located in Mesa Counry. The coal to <br />be mined is federally owned and the surface to be affected is privately <br />owned. A copy of the permit is enclosed, pursuant to Rule 2.07.4(2)(C). <br />Stipulation No. 21 had been included in the proposed decision on <br />March 10, 1993. This stipulation required that the Division receive <br />verification of resolution of an appeal between Grand Valley Coal Company's <br />~w rri a e.,, rL, nee: F e.. e <br />parent, Adobe Mining, and ~~,e O ce o Sur,a,.2 Mining. e ., „ce ~~ ,,, r.ac2 <br />Mining verified resolution of the appeal on March 17, 1993.
