NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology has issued a proposed decision <br />to approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation plans for the <br />Trapper Mine, Permit No. C-81-O10, operated by Trapper Mining Inc., under the <br />provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The <br />proposed technical revision (TR-69> was submitted by Trapper Mining Inc. on <br />August 28, 1995 for the Trapper Mine. The affected area is located in the <br />SE 1/4 of Section 35, T6N, R91W, in Moffat County. <br />The subject technical revision pertains to a remediation plan for a landslide <br />which occurred on reclaimed land in the Ashmore Pit section of the mine. <br />Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for review at the <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology office, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or <br />may be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed <br />decision. Requests for a formal hearing must be made in writing within ten <br />(10) days of this publication and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />
