<br />poses ro Approve Technical Revlslon Application No.
<br />41 (iR-41) for iha Edna Ship Mina (PermR No. C-
<br />1980-001), submitted by Pittsburg S Mitlway Coal
<br />Mining Co. The applicam proposes to remove the
<br />four Tipple setlimant conhol pontls, az mining ac[IVl-
<br />tlee have ceased.
<br />The Edna SMp Mina Is a surtace coal mine located in
<br />Routt County, approximately 5 miles northwest of
<br />Oak Creek. Cobrado. Coal Interest is Fatlerel, and
<br />the surlace a%ected is Fatleral, state antl private lantl.
<br />The permit area encompasses approximately
<br />3,428.50 acres.
<br />This proposetl decision is baeetl an a fintling that the
<br />proposed operation will compy with all requirements
<br />of the Coloredo Surtece Coal Mining Redamatlon
<br />Act, SecHOn 367337101, et seq., C.R.S., and the rag-
<br />ulatlons promulgated thereunder.
