TECHNICAL REVISION TO LP-21 MINE PERMIT
File No. 77-305
March 8, 1979
A technical revision is needed on the LP-21 Mine Permit to relocate a pro-
posed venthole site. This change will not significantly affect reclamation, as
it involves trading one portion of as yet undisturbed land which has been per-
mitted for another portion of undisturbed, unpermitted land of the same acreage.
The originally proposed vent hole site (labeled A) must be changed due to a
change in the underground location of the mine. The relocated site (labeled A-1)
has about 150 feet more of road construction to it. The road is proposed to fol-
low the contour, as there are outcroping sandstone ledges on the shorter routes.
The enclosed map (Exhibit C-2) shows both vent hole locations with the ori-
ginal labeled A and the relocated site labeled A-1.
The reclamation plan will remain the sarne for the new site as for the pre-
vious site, which includes the removal of equipment, the closing of the hole,
and the grading and revegetation of the site with the approved seeding mixture.
RECEIVE=C7
MAR 12 191y
°'!'~ ^.° "..4TION SECTION
