PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Hayden Gulch Terminal, Inc. (HGTi), 701 N. Memorial Drive, St Louis MO, 63101, has Filed with <br />the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) a permit renewal (PR) application Eor it's <br />Hayden Gulch Loadout (Loadout), Permit No. C-92-081 under provisions of the Colorado Surface <br />Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979 (Act). The purpose of the renewal application is to extend the <br />existing valid permit to conduct surface coal mining and reclamation activities for another 5 years. <br />No actual mining will be conducted under this pemtit as this is a coal stockpile and Loadout facility <br />and railroad spur. Site activities will consist of coal stockpiling and shipment, routine monitoring and <br />minor maintenance work to assure regulatory compliance. This PR application will not result in any <br />changes to either the disturbed or affected areas. <br />The Loadout is located approximately 2 miles southeast of Hayden, Colorado, and within 100 Eeet of <br />Routt County Road 37. The USGS 7.5-minute quadrangle map entitled Mount Hazris contains the <br />permit azea described below. <br />The general legal description of the permit azea is described as: <br />T6N,R88W(all west of the 6"' Principle Meridian) <br />Section 10, Portions of El/2 <br />Section 14, Portions of Wl/2 <br />Section 15, Portions of El/2E1/2 <br />Section 22, Portions of NEl/4 <br />Section 23, Portions oENl/2N1/2NW1/4 <br />Containing 175.3 acres, all in Routt County. <br />A copy of the permit renewal application is available for inspection at the Hayden Public Library, 225 <br />East Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, Colorado 81639. <br />Any person having an interest which is or may be adversely affected by a deasion of the Division <br />regazding the proposed surface coal mining operation, or the officer or head of any Federal, State, or <br />local government agenry or authority shall have the right to submit written objections or comments <br />to the Division within 30 days after the publication of this notice. Written objections or comments <br />may be subtnitted to the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver, Colorado 80203.
