MCC requested approval from the USFS in a letter dated May 23, 2005, to Mr. Levi Broyles, Re: <br />Mountain Coal Company LLC (MCC), West Elk Mine; Permit No. C-80-007; Methane Drainage Well <br />(MDWs) 2005 Annual Operating Plan Amendment. <br />Tentatively, MCC will begin drilling this well (24-OSA) as soon as the minor revision to the permit is <br />approved. <br />This submittal will be incorporated into the permit document at Volume 11A. <br />Please notify me with the Division's bond liability estimate so that arrangements can be made should <br />the estimate exceed the current total bond amount of $11,500,000.00, If you have questions regarding <br />this minor revision and information please call me. <br />Sinc r y, L%h\~~ <br />Henry be ,C <br />Environmental Engineer <br />cc: P.
