The Ranches, Mr. Fisher (and his family) <br />and Mr. Luppens (and his family) are collectively referred to herein as the "Ranch Owners."1 <br />The Ranch Owners own private property in close proximity to the sand and gravel mine operated <br />by King Mountain Gravel, LLC ("King Mountain") which is at issue in the above-referenced <br />matter. We are writing on behalf of (1) the Ranches to request parry status with respect to King <br />Mountain's application for conversion of its Section 110 limited impact operations permit, <br />Permit No. M-1978-314 ("110 Permit"), to a Section 112 reclamation permit ("112 Permit") (the <br />"Permit Conversion Application"); and (2) the Ranch Owners to submit their opposition to the <br />Permit Conversion Application.
