Subsequently, we were only able to renew the Introduction and <br />Exhibit A. Exhibit B through Exhibit S were sot inciuded on the copy of the CD we received, nor were <br />Attachments A-C. If you would hire the CROW to provide you with additional contents regarding those <br />dociancnts, please forward them at your earliest convenience for our review. <br />CDOW SUMMARY OF PROPOSED PROJECT: <br />The existing gravel pit previously operated by Frank Hewes, now called King Motmtain Sand & Gravel Mine <br />is located in agricultural rangeland approximately 5 mikes west of Toponas; CO. The property is located on the <br />southwest portion of an area locally referred to as Five Pines Mesa The current pit is permitted far 10 acres, <br />and has been part of an active mining operation. The petitioner is requesting that the permit acreage be <br />expanded from this initial 10 acres to 341 acres. It is our understanding that the petitioner only intends to mine <br />184 of the 341 acres with no more than 67 acres being disturbed at any given time. The proposed mining <br />operation will be to mine construction aggregates, and the petitioner is proposing to complete mining is four <br />separate phases over a ZO-year period.
