The current plan is to mine, then reclaim one phase
at a time. The maximum disturbance will be what is currently open in phase I, the
pipeline, and the lower pad. For example, prior to excavation in phase 2, acreage in phase
1 would be reclaimed, then excavation of phase 2 would continence. A[ no time would
the excavation in a future phase exceed the acreage reclaimed in a previous phase.
It is hoped the current bond will cover the majority of [he existing disturbance, as this
disturbance is within the current 110 boundaries. Please refer to the enclosed annual
report letter map, which was recently submitted to the DMG.
A copy of this letter will be placed in the La Plata County clerk/recorders office. Please
give me a call at (970) 259-2629 if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincere) ,
Kirk Allen, Southwest Land Services, Inc.
