Additionally, we agreed to revise the cover factor ("C") values from my earlier submittal <br />to reflect the actual vegetation data obtained from quantitative sampling in 2004, and <br />using the corresponding table from TR51. These revised values aze reflected in the <br />calculation below. <br />Recalculating sediment generation using the USLE: <br /> R K LS C P A <br />Native 1 56.6 0.1 0.7 0.036 1 0.067 <br />Native 2 56.6 0.1 0.017 0.036 1 0.035 <br />Reclamation 56.6 0.11 0.27 0.013 1 0.022 <br />The revised calculations reaffirm the conclusion that the reclaimed areas generate less <br />sediment than the native azeas, due lazgely to a slightly lower slope gradient and <br />vegetation that tends to retazd surface runoff.
