The revision was submitted by Trapper Mining Inc.. All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />The operator proposed to leave twenty-five ponds as permanent structures. These ponds would provide water for livestock and <br />wildlife and would support the post-mining land-use of Rangeland. The following ponds aze proposed for retention: No Name <br />#2, 4, and 5, Johnson 6, 7R, 8R, 9R, and lOR, West Pyeatt 1 and 2, East Pyeatt 1, 2, and 3, Grouse 1 and 2, Oak land 1 and 2; <br />West Flume 1, Middle Flume 1, East Middle Flwne I, East Flume 1, Deer 1, Ute 1, Horse Gulch 1. <br />The Surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 6 miles South of Craig, Colorado. The permit azea is <br />further described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 1, 2, and 3, Tovmship 5 North; Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br />Portions of Sections 30 and 31, Township 6th North, Range 90 West of the 6th P.M. <br />Portions of Sections 25, 26, 28, 33, 34, 35, and 36, Township 6 North, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Castor Gulch. <br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of <br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at the Moffat County <br />Courthouse, 221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625, and at the Division office.
