• 18 • <br />EXHIBIT H <br />WILDLIFE INFORMATION <br />WEST END GRAVEL PIT No.l <br />WEST END GRAVEL COMPANY <br />SEy SEC 11, T66N, R15W, NMPM <br />Wildlife in the San hliguel River canyon exists in harmony with the existing intermittent <br />gravel pit operations. Grazing on the sparsely vegetated dry gravel benches of the mining <br />area is slightly reduced by operations activity, however that grazing was heavily dominated <br />by domestic livestock grating anvwa}'. The region is host to deer and elk, and possibh• <br />some itinerant desert sheep large mammal species. Small mammal populations have been <br />extensively controlled for agricultural purposes. The usual small reptile regime of lizards <br />and snakes inhabit the dry cobbly slopes. Song birds and itinerant raptors frequent the <br />azea. <br />All wildlife frequenting the rrtirtirtg site shall be temporarily displaced to the ample similar <br />adjacent habitat until restoration of the site. There are no threatened nor endangered <br />species knowzt to exist at the site. I~figratory routes are not affected by the proposed <br />operations. <br />
