MCC's
responses are adequate and the Division proposes to approve this
minor revision.
I believe MCC misunderstood the question regarding topsoil removal
in the area of the screening plant. The Division was concerned
that topsoil was not removed in the area of the-RCC Buttress, not
the retaining wall (Tensar Wall). MCC should review topsoil
removal practices in this area in preparation of updating Map 56.
Review of the photographs indicate that there is definitely topsoil
to be removed prior to construction of the rock buttress, as there
is oakbrush between the RCC buttress and the retaining wall.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Christine E.
Environmental
Specialist
CEJ/007MR116.1
