The conditions to <br />approval are noted below: <br />Stipulation Nos, O1 and 02 <br />the <br />the <br />In order to determine optimal bench width and plant growth medium <br />replacement depth for successful reclamation, Rocky Mountain Asphalt, <br />Inc. will conduct revegetation trials on the 23-foot wide south-facing <br />pit benches using varying depths of growth medium on each bench. The <br />soil will be replaced in two series of thirty foot long strips the <br />width of the bench, The depths to be evaluated are 3-6 inches, 6-12 <br />inches, and 12-18 inches (of which 6-12 inches of soil will be placed <br />over "fines" to provide a total depth of 18 inches). Evaluation of the <br />test plots and native reference areas for vegetative cover and <br />productivity will be conducted every other year for the entire <br />operation of Phase I, requiring submittal immediately after analyses <br />are conducted. <br />The amount of financial warranty set by the Board for this <br />E4o,000.00.
