~~ v~ s ~~o N'
ADDENDUM
An ore storage site was added to the Permit Area after the Application
was originally submitted to the CMLRD. This site is currently permitted
under the operator's I:!0 Permit. Exhibits A and B have been revised to
reflect this change.
The storage site is about 1 1/2 miles from the operational site, and
is located on lands leased from Urie Ranches Inc.
No disruption of the land surface will result from use of this site
for ore storage purposes. The land owners requested that the surface soils
not be stripped and stockpiled prior to its use for storage.
The land surface is similar to the main project area. Vegetation types
are classified as "upland sage". The reseeding procedures outlined in this
Application for the main operational area will be utilized for reclamation
of the storage area when operations are terminated. The only change in
the character of the land surface after operations are completed will be
that the soils are enriched with calcium carbonate.
Current and post-operational uses of this site are for cattle and sheep
grazing purposes.
-5 A-
