<br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology has issued a proposed <br />decision to approve a minor revision to the mining and reclamation <br />plans for the Deserado Mine, Permit No. C-81-018, operated by <br />Western Fuels-Utah, under the provisions of the Colorado Surface <br />Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The proposed minor revision <br />(MR-101) was submitted by Western Fuels-Utah on February 15, 1996. <br />The affected area is located in portions of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, <br />10, 11 and 12, T2N, R101W, and Sections 21, 22, 23, and 26 through <br />36, T3N, R101W of the 6th P.M., in Rio Blanco County. <br />The subject minor revision pertains to a temporary coal storage <br />area and associated road and small area exemption sediment control <br />structures located adjacent to conveyor transfer station No. 2, at <br />the Deserado Mine. <br />Copies of the minor revision application are available for review <br />at the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology office, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who <br />has an interest which is or may be adversely affected by this <br />proposed decision should contact the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology at the above address, or by phone at (303) 866-3567. <br />
