Director <br />Albuquerque Field Office <br />PROM: Acting Assistant Director <br />Western Support Center <br />SUBJECT: Uesign and Other Xequlatory Requiroments for "Dozer <br />Dasins" <br />A.: you requested in your November 4, .1992 memorandum, attached is <br />an interpretation of the regulatory requirements for one of the <br />two types of temporary structures on which you requested <br />guidance: "dozer basins"_ ':his interpretation resulted from a <br />review ~f the pertinent Federal regulations and preambles, and <br />discussion oC the topic with hydrologists from the States of <br />Colorado and Neu Mexico and engineers from the U.S. Mine Safety <br />and Health Administration (MSHA).
